The Family Treatment Centre
The Family Treatment Centre is located in Muskrat Dam, Ontario, a small remote community of approximately 300 people. this one of a kind organization is dedicated to its mission:
"to strengthen Native communities within the Sioux Lookout area by providing a residential program that will provide support and guidance to substance abusers and their families to understand and overcome their problems through the development of a strong spiritual base, the understanding of traditional values and beliefs and the development of attitudes and skills that will help them deal with changes within the community"
