Referral and Admission

Admission Requirements

Whole Family Units seeking admission must have:

  • a commitment to complete the program, abide by the program regulations and follow-through on commitment upon return home;
  • a chemically dependent member(s) who is out of the acute stage and has expressed a desire for help;
  • recently completed medical examinations, and;
  • complete referral forms.

Single persons may be eligible for admission under certain circumstances requiring special consideration.

Referral Process

Referrals to our six-week program may be made by:

  • NNADAP Workers
  • Mental Health Workers
  • Band Family Services Workers
  • Medical Personnel
  • Clergy
  • Individuals
  • other involved Community Service Workers

Referral Forms are available from community NNADAP Workers and by mail from the Treatment Centre. Accurate completion of Referral and Medical forms is required. All referrals are encouraged to involve the NNADAP worker in the home community. They are the main contact people for the Centre and crucial to proper aftercare upon program completion.
